Locarno e Valli Art Weekend 2026. Floral art for Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach

During the Locarno e Valli Art Weekend, the Fondazione is hosting a talk with Verena Pedrotta, Marguerite Arp’s florist. In conversation with the art historian Misia Bernasconi, Verena Pedrotta will guide the audience through the Ronco dei Fiori garden, sharing her in-depth botanical knowledge and her memories of Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach.

Through period photographs, visitors will be able to retrace some of the highlights of social life in the Arps’ garden, such as birthday parties and other events, which were always enhanced by floral arrangements.

This event is part of a series dedicated to the estate’s garden, where Jean/Hans Arp (1886-1966) and Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach (1902-1994) lived. This special place where nature and art coexist, constitutes a precious heritage that requires constant care, attention and shared responsibility.

The exhibition Arp, Cahn, Magnelli, Taeuber-Arp. L'arte del dono is open until 6 pm.
